(Borosilicate (Pyrex), Bullseye, Lauchsa, Moretti, Vetrifond, Satake and more). Glow properties last up to 15 hours from one light charge. Results depend upon how long light is absorbed initially. Available only here, are seven colors in various quantities. Tips & Tricks Instructions for Use In Glow Glass and Enamels: Back a Cabachon by pressing the back into powder while molten. Decorate with color or just clear encase by placing clear to transparent sheet over top of design. Also experiment with covering/ encasing the Glow Dust which you have pre-arranged in a design, with multi-colored frits. This will vary the final appearance. Do not use medium to dark greens to encase; they can block the UV properties of the Glow Dust. Light greens and other light transparent colors work. Try mixing with glass powder and/or enameling powders, to achieve more detail or intricacy in design and differences in final appearances. If difficulty occurs with fusing Glow Dust between glass sheets, check kiln temperature, or use a very fine application of bonding agent, such as a Pate de Verre glue.Enameling: Wet pack or sift dust on pre-enameled surface. Apply a thin coat. Fire at normal temperatures. Apply a light transparent or clear over the surface. (Do not use medium to dark green transparents as the glow does not penetrate these due to the chemicals used to make green). Fire again. It has been found that the orange and the white Glow Dust work best when fired at 1200 degrees F. The other Glow Dust colors work fine at 1450-1500 F. For enameling.
