Glass Fibre Ropes, Tapes & Cloth Description

Gautam Fibre Glass Products introduces glass fibre ropes, tapes and cloth, which find tremendous application as a replacement to asbestos based products for the first time in India. The range of products manufactured by us are as under:

GFR 1: is the solid braided rope offered in square and round shapes. GFR 1 is typically used to shield and protect hydraulic lines, steam lines, motor leads hoses, pipes and machinery from extreme radiant heat. It can be reinforced with SS wire inside the core or on the braiding.
Sizes & Packing: Available in 5 kg coils of 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12.5mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 35mm & 51mm diameter.

GFR 2: is the loose braided rope (or the lagging rope) used for the insulation of industrial powerhouses, marine steam, hot water pipelines and exhaust pipelines.
Sizes & Packing: Available in 5 kg coils of 12.5mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm & 30mm diameter.

GFR 3: is the glass fibre yarn of 3mm and 5mm diameter used extensively as kerosene stove wick and for the insulation of concealed pipelines.

GFT 1: is the glass fibre tape used for the thermal and corrosion protection of tubes, flanges, steam lines, valves, weld joints etc.
Sizes & Packing: Available in 15 metre rolls of the following dimensions:
Standard Width: 25mm, 40mm, 51mm, 75mm, 100mm
Standard Thickness: 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 5mm
Glass fibre tape can be reinforced with SS wire.

GFT 2: is the glass fibre cloth used for the thermal and corrosion protection of tubes, flanges, steam lines, valves, weld joints etc.
Sizes & Packing: Available in 15 metre rolls of the following dimensions:
Standard Width: 1m
Standard Thickness: 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 5mm
Glass fibre cloth can be reinforced with SS wire.
