Manufacturing Techniques
Cloisonne: An ancient process using ground colored glass. The glass is fired at high temperatures to allow it to flow between the metal separations of the die. The surface of the pin becomes smooth and translucent. When details are too small to allow for metal separations, color is laser fired onto the pin.
