PIECE OF HISTORY:
This piece is not only a beautiful artwork but it also contains a history. This piece is made by Indigenous men and women that have acquired the techniques and traditions of their Incas Ancestors. The Central Figure is called "Monolito", which is part of the ancient art of the Incas civilization during the Tiwanaku era. This figure was traditionnaly carved in enormous stone-blocks. Today, the tradition has been preserved and this chess set is the proof of it.
