Top shade bands in different colors can also be provided, besides, the option of mirror button fixing and other assemblies, as required. Laminated windshields have the following distinct advantages: High resistance to penetration because of the PVB interlayer, thus, ensuring safety. Localized breakage at the point of impact without hampering visibility. In case of breakage, broken glass pieces continue to stick to the PVB interlayer, eliminating the danger of injury by glass shrapnel. In case of a head impact, the injury sustained is minimized due to the flexibility of the windshield.
